class quadax.AbstractAdjointSource

Abstract base class for adjoint methods.

An adjoint determines how derivatives of a quadrature are computed, without changing what the quadrature itself returns. Subclasses implement quadrature, which runs the primal solve and attaches whatever custom differentiation rule it wants.
